Although, now that I think about it, radio silence is more static than proper quiet. But there's no else out there. Or perhaps, more apt is that I've left my radio unmanned, which means that all anyone else hears is static. Hello everyone. I apologize for being so absent lately. Ignore that soft sobbing coming from behind the curtain. That is just what happens when a Becky marathons No. 6 for the first time. That was amazing. The world! The story. The characters. I could've probably done without some of the creepier visuals. (But I guess they did contribute to the general plot. You can't appreciate the more touching moments without the OH GOD AHHAGHSTOP.) There is so much more I want to know though! I guess you can't really take nine volumes and condense them into eleven episodes without skimming over some stuff. So, I shall...just have to look into whether the novels have been translated. The manga for that matter

I watched Never Let Me Go today. It probably would have filled me with all of the tragic feelings if I wasn't preoccupied feeling irritated about how Ruth is basically blamed for the other two characters' inability to hook up. Um, sorry, it takes more than one to tango. Still, it was interesting and beautifully filmed. I couldn't help feeling that something was missing. Probably just how other movies/books/etc deal with this topic. No one tries to escape, and strangely enough, it doesn't seem as if anything is /really/ preventing them from at least trying.
